Fuseware Releases Demographics and Analysis of SA Twitter Usage

twitterEver wondered what South Africa tweets about?

Fuseware has profiled millions of tweets from South Africa and tens of thousands of users to better understand the South African Tweeter. We have aggregated this information into dozens of graphs and word clouds for easy reading and dissemination.
We create social media strategies and in depth social media profiling and data mining services. This is just a small chunk of the insights we have collected over the last few months, but it reveals some pretty interestign trends in South African Twitter usage.

Check it out for yourself at http://www.fuseware.net/reports/sa-twitter-2010/

OMG – dude that’s crazy interesting….man if I was a big corporation I’d want to know what people are saying about my company and more so how I can change their sentiment if it was currently negative. You would form part of my HR or public relations framework on a more “web-based/internet” perspective!

Wow Mike, good luck with that man, really sounds interesting!!!

P.S. I LOVED the word clouds, give a quick, clear and stimulating perspective and instantly gets the message accross!!

Some pretty surprising and satisfying data included in your report, thanks. It’s great to see someone finally doing what we’ve been waiting for!

I did find it hard to believe that South Africans, while mostly happy and sure of ourselves, would often think that something is mean… I wonder rather whether these are tweets explaining something.. “I mean it’s possible, isn’t it? …”.

I’m really looking forward to seeing your next reports!
